A student of class 10 was stabbed to death by an 8th grade student at Seventh Day School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon. He died in the hospital late in the evening. Angry with this incident, a mob of about 2 thousands vandalized the school on Wednesday morning.
The entire staff including the principal beaten
People from Sindhi community, Bajrang Dal, VHP and ABVP workers reached the school on Wednesday morning. On reaching school, people first started vandalizing vehicles parked outside the school. After this, the school’s style entered the railing by jumping.
As soon as he entered inside, people started beating the guard, bus drivers. Angry mob also vandalized buses, cars and two -wheelers parked in the parking lot. Principal and other staff members were also beaten fiercely. As soon as the information was received, many police teams reached school. But, people were so angry that they kept beating the entire staff in front of the policemen.
Keep beating the staff in front of the police
There was so much anger among the people that even when the police was saving the employees, the crowd kept beating them. People also vandalized the police car. Later people sat on the road and created a ruckus.
As soon as the information was received, Maninagar MLA, DCP Baldev Desai and ACP reached the school. Activists of Bajrang Dal, VHP and ABVP raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram in the school. After an hour of uproar, the police also had to lathi -charged to control the mob. Currently, the situation is under control.
There was an old rivalry between the two students
Officials of Khokhara police station said that a few days ago there was an argument between these two students about something. To avenge this old enmity, the accused brought a knife on Tuesday. As soon as school was discharged, he attacked the 10th student.
The injured student had severe wounds in the stomach. He was admitted to a private hospital in Maninagar. But his life could not be saved due to excessive bleeding. The deceased and accused are minors here, so their names have not been revealed.
