This time he is playing the role of a real soldier himself in his most awaited film ‘120 Bahadur’. The producers released the teaser of the film on Tuesday, August 05. The film tells a strong story of the valor, courage and sacrifice of 120 Indian soldiers, who had bravely faced 3,000 Chinese soldiers bravely during the Battle of Rejang La in 1962, which was an important development of India-China war.
Story of sacrifice of 120 soldiers
In the ‘120 Bahadur’ teaser, Farhan is playing the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati of the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army, who led the Indian soldiers during the Battle of Rejang La. He sacrificed his life in the war and was posthumously awarded the Paramveer Chakra, India’s highest military honor. The teaser begins with an interrogation of an injured soldier admitted by an officer about the incidents in Rejang La during the war. In many emotional and enthusiastic scenes, Indian soldiers have been shown facing continuous artillery attacks by the Chinese Army. At the same time, Indian soldiers are shown preparing for war in bad weather, where the temperature goes below -24 degrees. Despite the harsh cold, Shaitan Singh, who was played by Farhan, is worked carefully and appears to prepare for the further fight.

Produced by Rajneesh ‘Regi’ Ghai and directed by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) and Amit Chandra (Trigger Happy Studio), the film is set to release in theaters on 21 November, 2025. Farhan is returning to the big screen after a four -year break. He was last seen in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Hurricane’. ‘120 Bahadur’ also stars Vivaan Bhatena, Ankit Sivach, Ejaz Khan and Rashi Khanna in lead roles.
