Vaibhav Suryavanshi Male has become the youngest player to score a century in T20 cricket history. Earlier this record was in the name of Vijay Zol, who scored 109 runs against Mumbai in 2013 at the age of 18 years 118 days.
The fastest IPL century as an Indian
Suryavanshi completed his century in 35 balls, which is the fastest century scored by any Indian batsman in IPL history. He broke Yusuf Pathan’s record, who played a century in 37 balls against Mumbai Indians in 2010, playing for Rajasthan. Now Chris Gayle (30 balls) is ahead of him in terms of fastest century in this tournament.
Apart from this, he has become the only Indian to complete a century in IPL within 11 overs.

Suryavanshi men have also become the youngest player to score half-century in T20 cricket. He broke the record of Hasan Isakhil, son of Afghanistan’s veteran all-round Mohammad Nabi, who scored his first T20 half-century in 2022, 15 years 360 days old.
Most sixes
As an Indian, Suryavanshi has jointly reached number one in terms of hitting the most sixes in an IPL innings. He equaled Murali Vijay, who hit 11 sixes during the innings of 127 runs in the 2010 match against Rajasthan Royals.
The youngest player of the match
The record of winning the most player of the match in IPL history has also been named. In this list, he left behind Mujib Ur Rehman, who won the Player of the Match Award against Rajasthan in IPL 2018 at the age of 17 years 39 days.
