Indian Railways has announced several special trains before Deepawali, which will make it easier for people to go home at the time of festivals. 150 Pooja Special trains will be run between September 21 to November 30 and will make a total of two thousand 24 rounds. Of these, the maximum number of 48 trains will be run by South Central Railway and will make 684 rounds. At the same time, the East Central Railway will run 14 trains on the Bihar route, which will make 588 rounds.
Special trains being run by South Central Railway will provide facilities to people from places like Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Vijayawada. At the same time, trains of East Central Railway will facilitate the people of Patna, Gaya, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur.

South Central Railway- 48 trains (Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Vijayawada routes)
East Central Railway- 14 trains (Patna, Gaya, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur route)
Eastern Railway- 24 trains (Kolkata, Sealdah, Howrah Route)
Western Railway- 24 trains (Mumbai, Surat and Vadodara routes)
Southern Railway- (Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai routes)
How many trains for Surat-Kolkata
Eastern Railway will operate 24 special trains. These trains will make a total of 198 rounds. These will facilitate the people of Kolkata, Sealdah, Howrah. Western Railway is also running 24 special trains in this festival season, which will carry passengers from Mumbai, Surat and Vadodara. Southern Railway has decided to run 10 special trains from railway stations like Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai. These trains will turn a total of 66 turns. Special trains will also be run from cities like Bhubaneswar, Puri and Sambalpur (East Coast Railway), Ranchi, Tatanagar (South Eastern Railway), Prayagraj, Kanpur (North Central Railway), Bilaspur, Raipur, Bhopal and Kota.
