These days the monsoon session of Parliament is going on. This session will run till August 21. 17 MPs including Supriya Sule (NCP-SP), Ravi Kishan (BJP), Nishikant Dubey (BJP) and Arvind Sawant (Shivsena-Lt) will be honored with ‘Parliament Ratna’. All these MPs will be awarded the ‘Parliament Ratna’ honor- 2025 for their exemplary performance in the Lok Sabha.
Four special jury prizes also included
These honors also include four special jury awards, which recognize his continuous contribution in parliamentary democracy in three consecutive terms. Special awards will be given to Bhartrihari Mahatab (BJP, Odisha), NK Premchandran (Revolutionary Socialist Party, Kerala), Supriya Sule (NCP-SP, Maharashtra), and Srirang Appa Baran (Shiv Sena, Maharashtra).
The best performance of all these MPs since 16th Lok Sabha
All of them have maintained the best performance since the 16th Lok Sabha. Other MPs to be honored include Smita Uday Wagh (BJP), Naresh MHSSE (Shivsena), Varsha Gaekwad (Congress), Medha Kulkarni (BJP), Praveen Patel (BJP), Vidyut Baran Mahato (BJP) and Dilip Saikia (BJP).
Agricultural Standing Committee will also be honored
In the committee category, the Standing Committee on Finance headed by Bhartrihari Mahtab and the Agricultural Standing Committee headed by Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi (Congress) will be honored for contribution to the quality and legislative supervision of his report. (With language input)
