Dubai: Iran on Wednesday sentenced two persons to death in two separate cases. Among them, one person was accused of spying for Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and being an active member of the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS). Iran’s official news website ‘Mizan Online’ gave this information.
Why did Iran punish?
In the first case, the person hanged has been identified as Rozbeh Wadi. He was accused of providing confidential information to Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. According to the report, Ruzbeh gave sensitive information about an Iran’s nuclear scientist to Israel. After this, Israeli killed the scientist. According to Mizan Online, Ruzbeh had met Mossad officials at least five times in Vienna, Austria. Iranian officials alleged that he was deliberately sharing such important documents and information that were dangerous for the security of the country.
IIS terrorist entered Iran illegally
Iran also hanged a person named Mehdi Agajadeh in the second case, who was accused of being a member of the terrorist organization ISIS. According to the report, Agajadeh had received military training in Syria and Iraq and illegally entered Iran with four other companions. According to Iranian security forces, the remaining four terrorists who came with Agajadeh were killed in an encounter with security forces in Iran. The aim of these people was to spread terror in Iran and create a conspiracy of attacks.
