Vijay Devarakonda’s action drama ‘Kingdom’ was released in theaters 25 days ago and now the film is going to knock on OTT. The ‘Kingdom’ is ready for premiere on Netflix. Directed and written by Gautam Tinnuri, the film did not get any special reviews at the time of release nor could he do a good collection on the box office. The film is going to explode on Netflix on August 27.

The film was released in theaters with great expectations, but despite a tremendous craze, it grossed 82.02 crores worldwide. Vijay Devarakonda’s film has got a tough fight with films released the same week like ‘Dhadak 2’, ‘Son of Sardar 2’ and ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ as well as Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda’s ‘Saira’. In such a situation, ‘Kingdom’ cannot be called a hit as it could not recover its cost. It is reported that this Pan India film was produced in a huge budget of Rs 150 crore.
What is the story of Kingdom?
The story is of a police constable Suri, starring Vijay Devarakonda, who is sent on a secret mission in Sri Lanka to find out a dangerous criminal. However, this mission takes an unexpected turn when Suri finds out that the man he is following is actually a lost brother long ago.
