In the last month i.e. April 2025, the retail sales of trains across the country increased to 22,87,952 units. Fada (FADA), an organization of automobile dealers, gave this information on Monday. According to the news of the language, Chaitra was positive at the end of April after completing the purchases by customers around Navratri, Akshaya Tritiya, Bengali New Year, Baisakhi and Vishu. In this month, sales increased in all categories except commercial vehicles.
Whose sales were there
According to the news, Fada has stated in its data that in April, two -wheeler, three -wheeler, passenger vehicles and tractor sales increased by 2.25 percent, 24.5 percent, 1.5 percent and 7.5 percent respectively. Retail sales of commercial trains decreased by one percent. In April, two wheelers retail sales were 16,86,774 units, as compared to 16,49,591 units in the same month last year. Retail sales of passenger vehicles in the month under review were 3,49,939 units, while in April 2024 the figure was 3,44,594 units. In this way sales of passenger vehicles increased by 1.55 percent.
Investors’ concern decreased
Fada President CS Vigneshwar said that the stock markets have improved with the tariff war stopping. In such a situation, the concern of investors has reduced. In this way, customers completed shopping by taking advantage of Chaitra Navratri, Akshaya Tritiya, Bengali New Year, Baisakhi and Vishu, which made the April figure positive. Last month, retail sales of commercial vehicles declined by 1.05 percent to 90,558 units, as compared to 91,516 units in April 2024.
On the other hand, tractor retail sales rose 7.56 percent to 60,915 units, compared to 56,635 units a year ago. Fada said that in April, the three -wheeler section saw a strong boom. During the month, the retail sales of Tiphiya increased by 24.51 percent to 99,766 units. In April 2024, 80,127 three -wheelers were sold.
