3 flights of Air India canceled in one day: Ahmedabad among them

3 International flights of Air India were canceled on Tuesday. These include Ahmedabad-Landan, Delhi-Paris, London-Amritsar flight. Apart from this, passengers of flight coming from San Francisco to Mumbai were launched at Kolkata Airport.

The AI-171 flight crashed in Ahmedabad on 12 June. Instead, the new flight AI-159 from Ahmedabad to London has been started. The flight was canceled for the second consecutive time on Tuesday. The flight was to fly at 1.10 pm, but a technical flaw was said a few hours before the takeoff. The flight was canceled on 16 June as well.

Air India flight AI142 from Delhi to Paris was also canceled after technical problems, which came out during the investigation before the flight. Apart from this, the flight coming from London to Amritsar was also canceled due to technical problems.

On the other hand, the flight AI-180 of Air India going from San Francisco to Mumbai caused technical fault on Monday night. Due to this, passengers had to take off the plane from Kolkata Airport on Tuesday morning.

Cleaning of Air India- Flight canceled due to shortage of aircraft

Air India has clarified that AI159 from Ahmedabad to London AI159 has been canceled due to lack of aircraft, not due to technical flaws. Aircrafts are taking longer to reach their destination due to air space being banned and additional investigation.

Air India said that we are sorry about the problems that passengers have caused due to today’s flight cancellation. We have made a second flight arrangement for all passengers. At the same time, we are making arrangements to stay in their hotel. If a passenger wants to cancel the ticket, we will refund the entire money. If someone wants to have their flight resider, then we will do that too.

Along with this, Air India informed that flight number AI170 going from London to Ahmedabad will also be canceled today.

Air India renamed Ahmedabad-London Flight

After the plane crash, Air India has decided to change the number of Ahmedabad-London flight. Now it will be AI-159. The return flight will also be changed to AI-160. Earlier this flight number was AI-171.

Earlier in 2014, an airline had changed its flight number. The flight number of that route was changed to MH318 after Malasian Airlines’ flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing was disappeared.
