32 airports opened 43 hours after ceasefire

32 airports from 9 states have been opened on Monday, 43 hours after ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Airlines have started booking for passengers on behalf of companies. Airline services for 32 airports were closed from 9 May to 5:29 am on May 15.

The Airports Authority of India on Monday informed about opening airports through press release. It said that 32 airports closed till May 15 are now available for aircraft operations with immediate effect. Passengers have been asked to see the websites of airline companies for information about flights.

India had an air strike on Pakistan on 7 May to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April. Pakistan also retaliated in border areas. On May 10, the Ministry of Civil Aviation issued instructions to close 32 airports in 9 states.

More than 500 flights were canceled in three days
More than 500 flights were canceled by the airlines due to the flight shutdown. Many airline companies had given passengers a full refund or flight relationship option. There was a struggle between India and Pakistan till May 10.

The ceasefire (ceasefire) was announced by the two countries at 5 pm on 10 May. After this, the situation started becoming normal in the Indian states adjoining the Pak border. On May 11, an order was issued to restore 27 cancell trains in Rajasthan. Orders were issued to run 8 canceled trains in Ferozepur, Punjab normally.

The night trains from Gujarat to Rajasthan were canceled from May 10, now they have also been restored. An important decision can also be taken today regarding the canceled holidays of government employees in Gujarat.
