Sri lanka t20i series: The Indian cricket team can go on another foreign tour in August 2025. According to latest reports, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has sent a proposal to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to visit Sri Lanka in August and play three matches T20 (Sri Lanka T20I Series) and three matches of ODI series there.

Sri Lanka Cricket Board proposes
Actually the Indian team had to visit Bangladesh after the tour of England. Where the ODI series was to be played between the two teams, but the white ball series between India and Bangladesh has been canceled in view of the increasing tension between the two countries.
After the cancellation of the tour of Bangladesh, BCCI has a vacant window in the month of August, in view of which Sri Lanka has proposed to play ODI and T20 series at its home in front of India.
If the BCCI accepts the proposal of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board, and the Indian team goes to Sri Lanka tour, then many new faces can be seen in Team India for the T20I series. In IPL 2025, young players who make a blast can be given a chance in this series.
