These journalists were living in tent outside the hospital

According to the broadcaster, the slain journalists include Al Jazira’s correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammad Karikeh, as well as cameraman Ibrahim Zaheer, Moamen Alwa and Mohammad Naufal. Al Jazira said that he was among those who were living in a tent for the press outside the main gate of Al-Shifa Hospital. The Israeli army targeted the same tent and 5 journalists were killed.

Was drama to be a journalist- Israel

Immediately after the attack, the Israeli army in a statement admitted to targeting Anas al-Sharif. At the same time, the Israeli army claimed that Al-Sharif pretended to be a journalist. He was with Hamas. Israel termed Al Jazeera’s journalist as a terrorist and said that he had worked as the head of a terrorist cell in Hamas.

Al-Sharif attacks Israeli citizens with rocket

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) on the social media platform X said, ‘Hamas terrorist Anas al-Sharif, who described himself as an al Jazeera journalist. He was the head of a Hamas terrorist group and carried out rocket attacks on Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.

Press badge cannot be shielded for terrorism- IDF

Along with this, the IDF said, ‘Intelligence and documents received from Gaza, including rosters, terrorist training lists and salary records. All this proves that he was a Hamas worker associated with Al Jazira. The badge of the press cannot become a shield for terrorism.
