Hanoi. Five people were killed and nine others were injured when a bus collided with a container truck in Vietnam’s northern province of Lang Son early Tuesday. Vietnam News Agency (VNA) gave this information in its report.
According to reports, the accident occurred at around 02.10 local time on the Rung Cam slope in Huu Lung district, when the 16-seater bus collided with a container truck traveling in the opposite direction on the left lane. There were 15 passengers in the bus.
In the accident, four people died on the spot while another died while being taken to the hospital. According to Vietnam’s General Statistics Office, there were 9,829 traffic accidents in the country in the first 10 months of 2023, killing 5,496 people and injuring 6,973 others.
