A 52 -year -old man attacked a 52 -year -old man to send a message to WhatsApp in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. Many bones of the victim were broken in this attack. The police have arrested the four accused in this case.

According to the police, the incident took place on Saturday at a sports ground in Jujmukku, Thiruvalalam. The victim Rahim (52) had known a 17 -year -old teenager for the last three years. Both were associated with a cultural club and used to talk sometimes on WhatsApp.

Relatives saw while talking

A police officer said that on Friday, the teenager’s relative Manoj allegedly saw him talking to Rahim. After this, Manoj sent a message from the teenager’s phone and asked Rahim to meet it at the playground on Saturday. When Rahim reached there, Manoj and his friends- Manu, Arjun, and Ajit- attacked him with sticks.

Scooty and money filled with money also snatched

Rahim’s right hand and legs broke in the attack, and there were serious injuries on his face and shoulder. According to the FIR, the accused also snatched Rahim’s scooty and a bag full of Rs 29,000. According to the police, the local people rushed Rahim to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, from where he was admitted to a private hospital.

Arrest of four accused

The Thiruvalalam police took quick action and arrested the four accused- Manoj, Manu, Arjun and Ajit from Vithura area late on Saturday night. The police have also recovered Rahim’s scooty and money. Police said that a case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). All the accused were produced in court on Sunday, from where they have been sent to judicial custody. (input language)
