To differentiate these from their 5-seater counterparts, the exterior design will receive several updates. We expect the overall length to increase to accommodate the third row seats, but it will be interesting to see if there will be any changes to the wheelbase length. To compete with the Mahindra XUV700, new features including Level 2 ADAS can be added to the SUV.

Keeping this in mind, Renault and Nissan aim to make a strong comeback by re-entering the mid-size internal combustion engine (ICE) segment with new models. Both these SUVs will be manufactured at the brand’s production facility in Tamil Nadu and will also likely be offered as three-row SUVs. They may be based on the Bigster recently released in the global markets.
