New Delhi: 6 -time world champion boxer MC Mary Kom has confirmed his divorce. Mary Kom on Wednesday confirmed divorce from Oonkholar Com by a legal statement issued through her lawyer and described rumors of her affair with Hitesh Chaudhary as baseless.
Mary’s lawyer released a statement
The statement issued by Mary’s lawyer said, “In view of these speculation and wrong media reports, I want to issue the following clarification that MC Mary Kom and Oncholar (Onlar) Com are no longer married and have finalized the divorce under the presence of members of both families and leaders of the clan on 20 December 2023.”
The statement said, “My client (Mary) is clearly denied rumors of Hitesh Chaudhary involved in relationships with Hitesh Chaudhary or being in a relationship with any other boxer’s husband and should not be promoted by any media platforms.”
Mary also refused the media to intervene in her personal life. Mary’s lawyer said, ‘For the last two years, my clients are going through a very challenging time in my personal life, especially with her ex -husband. In this difficult time, my client requests his friends, fans and well -wishers to give him the place and privacy required to get out of this difficult time. ‘
The statement further said, ‘This notice is a formal request to all media institutions, in all forms, to avoid baseless speculation about my client. It is important that the media respects Mary Kom’s privacy and private place. A press conference in Manipur has already been held in this regard.
It said, “Failure to follow these requests will take legal action against those who violate this notice, including the laws applied to violate both civil and criminal claims and violation of privacy rights, but are not limited to these.”
