60 crore money laundering disclosure in Chhangur Baba case, ED gets many important documents

New Delhi: Taking major action against Chhangur Baba and his close ones, the ED team has so far detected a money laundering of about 60 crores. This action was taken during raids on a total of 15 locations in Balrampur, Lucknow and Mumbai. The investigation began on the basis of ATS Lucknow’s FIR, with allegations related to illegal conversion, misuse of foreign funding and national security.
These things were revealed in ED investigation
The ED investigation has revealed that Chhangur Baba was running his network from the Chand Auliya Dargah of Balrampur. There were often major religious programs, which included people from India and abroad. It is alleged that Chhangur and his associates targeted the poor and Dalit Hindu families and converted them. Explain that UP ATS is investigating conversion while ED is investigating money laundering.
Investigation of 22 bank accounts of Chhangur Baba and his colleagues
The ED has investigated 22 bank accounts associated with Chhangur Baba and its network. So far, transactions of more than Rs 60 crore have been detected in these accounts, in which a large amount was sent from abroad. This money reached Chhangur Baba and his close people. Many such documents and evidence have been found during the raid, which makes it clear that this money was used to buy expensive properties and build them. Baba did not take all this property in his name and bought it in the name of his close ones like Naveen Rohra and Neetu Rohra so that the real face would be hidden.
Nasreen’s three -storey boutique sealed
Please tell that the ED sealed the three -storey boutique of Nasreen in Balrampur on Thursday. Nasreen is a close associate of Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba, accused in the alleged conversion case in Uttar Pradesh. The ATS had earlier arrested both of them for the alleged mastermind of a secret network involved in conversion and outside the conversion. The ED on Wednesday launched a large -scale search operation in the Chhangur Baba conversion case.
