Moushumi Chatterjee was considered one of the most beautiful actresses of Hindi cinema in the 1970s. She is originally a famous actress from West Bengal. She started her film career with a Bengali hit, ‘Balika Badhu’ (1967) directed by Tarun Mazumdar when she was 16. His first Hindi film was ‘Anurag’ (1972). Everyone liked her character in this film and she got Filmfare Nomination as Best Actress in acting. The film won the Filmfare Award for Best Picture. The actress then found another big hit film where she played the rape victim in Manoj Kumar’s ‘Roti Clourish Aur House’ (1974). In April 2018, when she went into a coma, her husband Dicky brought her home. A few months later, Payal’s parents, seasonal and Jayant Mukherjee, accused the son -in -law of not taking care of the daughter properly. The actress was in depression for a long time after the daughter passed away.
