The actor told that this trick of publicity was suggested by Shivangi and everything was done under a strategy. They were also part of this strategy to share photos with each other.

Govind Namdev reacted to the news of his affair with Shivangi Verma and said- When preparations for the film ‘Gaurishankar Moharganj Wale’ were going on, we had discussed with the director, producer and Shivangi to plan a strong promotional strategy. I agreed that it was necessary. We had already shot several scenes. We did the morning exercise together and also took some good pictures.

Govind Namdev further states that it was Shivangi, who wanted people to felt that both were having an affair. The veteran actor says- ‘Shivangi insisted to me that we should form a romantic pair, photos should be seen in a special kind of chemistry.
