The tension between President Donald Trump and California increased further on Monday when the Pentagon has deployed around 700 soldiers in the city of Los Angeles to assist the National Guard soldiers who responded to the ongoing immigration protests. Meanwhile, California prepared to sue the Trump administration for federal deployment, while the city continued for the fourth consecutive day.

  5. California Governor Gavin Nosam has opposed the trump administration’s move by issuing a statement after a clash between hundreds of protesters and federal immigration officers wearing rioting dress.
  6. There were clashes on Saturday in front of the office of the Home Department adjacent to the ‘Home Depot’ in the city of Latin origin in the south of the Los Angeles. Federal security personnel released tear gas, flash-bang explosive and affected shells to control the demonstrations, while in response, protesters also stoned border patrol vehicles and created obstacles by burning garbage on the streets.
  7. Tension has increased in the area since the raids conducted by immigration officials on Friday. Officials also included raids in the fashion district and home depot of Los Angeles. The number of immigrants arrested during a week in the city has exceeded 100.
  8. A prominent union leader was arrested while protesting and accused of obstructing law enforcement. The White House announced that the Trump would ‘deploy the guard to deal with the chaos that has been allowed to flourish’.
  9. Democrat Governor Neusam said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ that this is ‘deliberately raised inflammatory move and this will only increase stress’. The governor later said that the federal government wants to create a spectacle. He urged people to avoid violent moves.
