Tsunami started coming after earthquake in Russia.
A tsunami warning was issued after a terrible earthquake near Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula. Now the waves of Sumani have started to rise in many areas of Russia and Japan. The initial intensity of this earthquake on the Richter scale was measured 8. However, it has now been updated to 8.8. A tsunami warning has also been issued in Russia and Japan as well as West Coast in Hawaii, Alaska and Canada.

According to the AP report, a tsunami has occurred in the coastal areas of Russia’s Kuril Islands and Japan’s large northern island Hokkaido after an 8.8 magnitude earthquake. Many videos of tsunami waves are also going viral on social media.

US President Donald Trump has also issued a warning to the people regarding earthquake and tsunami. He wrote on social media- “Due to the horrific earthquake in the Pacific Ocean, a tsunami warning has been issued for those living in the air. Tsunami monitoring continues on the Alaska and the Pacific coast of the United States. Japan is also in danger. Be strong and be safe!”
How high waves can arise?
Pacific (Pacific) Tsunami Warning Center has informed that in some coastal areas of Hawaii, Chile, Japan and Solomon Islands, waves may arise 1 to 3 meters high from tidal. In some coastal areas of Russia and Ecuador, more than 3 meters high waves may arise.
