Pithoragarh: There has been a big accident due to falling Bolero car in a deep ditch in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. Eight people died in the accident, while five people were injured. According to the information, the Bolero car fell into a 150 meter deep ditch. This vehicle was full of passengers. The accident took place near the Soni bridge.

Three people injured seriously

According to the information, it took place near Bhandari village in Muwani area. The driver lost control of the vehicle near the Soni bridge and the Bolero fell into a 150 meter deep ditch. Senior Superintendent of Police Rekha Yadav confirmed that eight people died on the spot. Three seriously injured people have been sent to a local government hospital for treatment.

It is being told that this Bolero taxi was going from Muvani to Bakata. In which 13 people were told. In this, eight people died on the spot. After receiving information about the incident, the administration team reached for relief and rescue operations. Relief and rescue operations continue by the administration.

Such incidents have happened earlier also

Earlier in April 2024, four people, including two brothers, were killed when four were injured when a Bolero fell into a 200 meter deep ditch in Ancholi area of Pithoragarh, while four were injured. At the same time, in June 2023, ten pilgrims were killed when a Bolero fell into a deep ditch in Sama Hota area of Pithoragarh district.
