If your mobile number is registered with your universal account number (UAN), you can get information by missing 9966044425 from your registered mobile number. After making a missed call on this number, you will receive some messages from EPFO in which the balance of your PF accounts will be seen.
SMS
You can also know the balance of your EPF account and the latest contribution to your account by sending an SMS on 7738299899. For this, you have to type the message by typing “EPFOHO UAN Eng” from the registered number. Here, “Eng” reflects English. If you want information in another language, write the first three letters of that language.
EPFO portal
Go to the EPFO website and click on the ‘Employees’ section, then click on ‘Member Passbook’. By entering your UAN and password, you can reach PF passbook. It will show the contribution of the starting and final balance as well as the employee and employer.
Umang app
You can also see your PF balance through the Umang app. The government launched the Umang app to provide access to various government services to the citizens at the same place. Using the Umang app you can submit the claim, watch your EPF passbook and track your claim. For this, you have to enter your phone number in the app and register once.
