Maruti: Good news, now these 7 cars of Maruti will also get standard 6-airbag safety
The country’s leading vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India said on 12 May 2025 that it would offer 6 airbags in all versions of Wagon R, Alto, 10, Celerio and Eco models. The country’s largest car company said in a statement that the step outlines the company’s commitment to offer increased safety to customers in various fields.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India, said in a statement that India’s fast expanded modern road infrastructure, high -speed expressways and trends of developing traffic shows that strong security measures were never needed before.

He said that with the decision to make six airbags standard in Wagon R, Alto, 10, Celerio and Eco, the company is making sure that better security is available to all.
Banerjee said that given the immense popularity of these models, this step increases safety standards for a large number of motorists to a great extent and overall the safety of passengers across the country.
The company sells models such as Wagon R, Alto 10, Celerio and Eco through its Arena sales networks, while through Nexa Network it sells premium models such as Baleno, Grand Vitara and Invito. Edited by: Sudhir Sharma
