BSF Sub Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz of Bihar was handed over to Narayanpur village of Chhapra on Monday. Earlier at 4 pm, the prayers of Janje were recited.
During this time a crowd of hundreds was present. Slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Pakistan Murdabad were raised. Whatever appears in the funeral, everyone’s eyes were moist and vigor in voice.
The body of SI reached Narayanpur village at around one and a half in the afternoon. Only the people were seen around the car in which he had his body. Slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Pakistan Murdabad continued.
SI’s wife Shaheen Ajima was not given the news of martyrdom for 2 days. As soon as the body reached at half past one in the afternoon, she fell unconscious. The body is currently kept for the last darshan in the house.
Son said- Pakistan should be punished severely
Earlier, Mohammad Imtiaz’s body was brought from Delhi to Patna and then sent to Chapra from here. His son Imran cried at Patna Airport. Crying, he said- ‘IM Proud of You Papa. I salute all the soldiers in this war. I thank the country for standing with us.
‘I want Pakistan to be punished severely. Today I lost my father in this attack, wife lost her husband. No one can understand this pain, only one who leaves from the house can understand it. Pakistan should teach such a lesson that the father should not be shared with the head of a son.
At Patna Airport, the body of Imtiaz was paid tribute to Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Minister Shravan Kumar and Minister Nitin Naveen. During this, Tejashwi Yadav said- ‘In Imtiaz, the message has been given that the country is above caste and religion.’
