Skoda Auto India introduced the new Skoda Kodiaq after successful launch of Kyllack
Mumbai Skoda Auto India has now announced the launch of a new generation of its luxury 4 × 4 SUV Kodiak after the successful launch of the Kylocke range. This is the second generation of Kodiak, which is being introduced in India and international markets. In India, this car is coming with a luxury look, better rest, off-road running strength, great road performance and seven seats.

Skoda’s 4 × 4 Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0 TSI engine, which gives 150 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. Its strength reaches both wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch DSG Automatic Gearbox. The car is built on the MQB 37 EVO platform and comes in two variants – sportline and selection L&C, both get 7 seats. Kodiak is assembled in the factory of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar in India and according to ARAI, its mileage is 14.86 km/liter.
The new generation of Kodiaq is 59 mm longer than its previous generation. Its length is 4,758 mm and height is 1,679 mm. It is 1,864 mm wide and its wheelbase is 2,791 mm. When fully loaded, the new Kodiak remains 155 mm higher than the ground. This three-powerful luxury 4 × 4 has the ability to keep a lot of goods in its versatil interior as before. Upon topping all three seats, Kodiaq has a luggage space of 281 liters. When folding the third line seats, this luxury SUV can carry 786 liters of goods, and when folding both the rear rows, the capacity of 1,976 liters is available to keep the goods in Kodiaq.
The new Skoda Kodiaq has continued its tradition of the highest luxury, with two different internal themes: All-Black Sporty Decor for Sportline variants and Premium Konic Leather Upholstery in the Trim trim. Increasing the technique and convenience of the cabin, it now has 32.77 cm infotainment system, as well as multi-function smart dials that come with touchable rotary knob and screen, providing spontaneous control over HVAC, seat ventilation, audio settings and drive mode. Ergonomic reforms include a new gear-mentor behind the steering wheel, providing better access, and a tablet holder for the back-seat passengers, which enhances their convenience.

Skoda Kodiak creates a distinct identity with its new design and premium style. The LED beam Crystalinium headlamps now have a welcome effect, which gives a great feeling on unlocked this luxury 4 × 4. The selection is in L&K trim dark chrome accents, while the sportline variant gives a sporty look with glossy black highlights. The new Kodiaq will be launched in 6 colors in the market – Moon White, Magic Black, Graphite Gray, Velvet Red and Race Blue. Selection L&K has special bronx gold and special steel gray color in sportline.
