Himachal Pradesh Board 10th Class Exam Result: In the results of class X declared by Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) on Thursday, girls defeated boys and finished top 7. Out of a total of 95,495 candidates, 75,862 (79.8 percent) passed the Class X examination. A statement issued by the board said that Saina Thakur, a student of Newgal Model Public School in Bhawarna in Kangra district, secured 696 out of 700 in the academic session 2024-25 to scored 99.43 percent marks and topped the examination.

Ridhima Sharma, a student of RK Senior Secondary School, Ghandi (Bilaspur), finished second with 695 marks (99.29 percent). Two students in third place (Modorn Public Senior Secondary School, Swarghat student Mudita Sharma and Minerva Senior Secondary School, Ghumarwin student Parnika Sharma) both scored 694 marks equally.

Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education Secretary Vishal Sharma said that 13,574 candidates failed in the examination and 5,563 have been placed in the compartment category. The statement said that in the revaluation or review of answer books, interested candidates can apply online with the conditions. (Language)
