America, Trump proposes in tension from Iran’s fast growing nuclear programs

Abu Dhabi: US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the US has submitted a formal proposal to Tehran in view of Iran’s fast -moving nuclear program. The statement was made by Trump in a conversation with journalists in the ‘Air Force One’ aircraft at the conclusion of his United Arab Emirates Yatra. This is the first time the US President has publicly acknowledged that a proposal has been introduced to Iran after several rounds of talks between US Special Envoy Steve Witcoff and Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi for West Asia.

“Expert level interaction towards agreement”

Trump said that the ongoing talks between the US and Iran have now reached the “expert level”. This means that the two sides are trying to investigate whether they can agreed to the solid points of a possible agreement. Trump said in his statement in his statement: “There is a proposal in front of him. But the most important thing is that he knows that he will have to move forward quickly, otherwise something bad can happen.” Trump, however, refused to share detailed information of the proposal.

Iran’s not reaction

So far no official response has been revealed by Iran to this proposal. The UAE was the final stage of Trump’s three countries – Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates visit to West Asia. During this time he met regional leaders and discussed major security and diplomatic issues, including Iran’s nuclear program, Gaza Sangharsh, and Russia-Ukraine War. (AP)
