Famous singer of Assam Gayatri Hazarika dies, battle lost to cancer at the age of 44 years
A sad news has come out from the entertainment world. Famous Assamese singer Gayatri Hazarika has died. Gayatri breathed his last at a hospital in Gawahati in 44 -year -old Umray. She was suffering from colon cancer. There is a wave of mourning in the music world with the death of Gayatri.
The director of Nemcare Hospital confirmed the news of the death of Gayatri thousandic, saying, it is a very sad day for all of us. We have lost Gayatri Hazarika. She was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment at our hospital. After his condition deteriorated, he was admitted three days ago and had to be admitted to the ICU yesterday, where he breathed his last.

Assam CM Himant Biswa Sarma has also expressed grief over the death of Gayatri Hazarika. He posted on X, “HCM Dr. @Himantabiswa has expressed deep grief over the demise of famous singer Mrs. Gayatri Hazarika. Her soulful voice and permanent contribution to Assamese music will always be remembered. HCM prayed for the peace of her soul and expressed her heartfelt condolences to her mourned family.
Gayatri Hazarika gained tremendous popularity from the song ‘Jora Pate Paate Phagun Name’. He gave his voice to Tumi Kun Birohi Ananya, Junk Nasil Bonot, Zeuji Expon and other popular songs. Gayatri Hazarika was a favorite singer of the music world of Assam.
