Police raids in many places in North Kashmir: Army also in Samba
The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police is conducting raids in several areas including Central and Sopore, Baramulla, Handwara, Ganderbal and Srinagar of North Kashmir. This action is being taken in connection with the investigation of terror related cases.
According to sources, the agency had received information about the suspected terrorist movement late Friday night, after which the action was initiated. At the same time, a joint team of security forces has started a search operation after showing Terror activity in a village in Samba district.
Here, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has confessed to the Indian attack on Noor Khan Airbase. He said that at around 2:30 pm on the night of May 10, General Asim Munir called him on the safe line and told him that India’s ballistic missiles had targeted Noor Khan Airbase and some other areas.
Sharif claimed on Friday night that Pakistan’s Air Force saved the country using domestic technology and modern equipment. Jets from China were also used.
Farudi tunnel explosion near LoC in Poonch, a soldier injured
An army soldier was injured in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the landmine exploded during the patrol of soldiers in Digwar sector.
Barudi tunnels are laid in these areas to prevent infiltration, which sometimes flow due to rain, due to which such accidents occur.
At present, the injured Havildar has been rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment.
