The Haryana Police has made a big disclosure about the YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra caught on charges of espionage. Hisar SP Shashank Kumar Sawan said that Jyoti went to Pakistan before the Pahalgam attack.
Pakistani was developing him as an asset. She was in touch with other YouTubers. She went to Pakistan on a sponsored trip. Jyoti was close to the Pakistani officer Danish, who was expelled from India. This was revealed by the video uploaded on his YouTube channel ‘Travel with Joe’. After this, Jyoti confirmed this during interrogation.
Police is also investigating its terror link. He has been arrested for sharing sensitive information and being in constant contact with a Pakistani citizen.
On the other hand, Jyoti’s link to Odisha’s YouTuber Priyanka Senapati has been revealed. Puri police went to Priyanka’s house and inquired. Jyoti came to meet Puri Priyanka in September 2024. Priyanka’s father said that her daughter’s befriends with Jyoti was through YouTube. His daughter traveled to Kartarpur Sahib with another friend 3-4 months ago. There was no light with him.
Jyoti attended the Iftar party in Embassy on National Day of Pakistan on 23 March last year. He put a video of it on his channel. Danish, an officer of the Pakistani Embassy in Embassy, welcomed him in a very friendly manner. In the video, the two were seen talking among themselves in such a way that you know each other very closely.
At the party, Danish introduced him to his wife. Apart from this, he also made him talk to the officials present there. In this Iftar, Jyoti also met some Chinese officials. She continued to praise the arrangements made in Pakistani Embassy throughout the video. He also invited Danish’s wife to come to his home i.e. Hisar, Haryana.
This Danish was declared an unwanted person after Operation Sindoor. The Government of India expelled him from the country on 13 May.
