Harshal Patel broke Chahal’s record, achieved special place in IPL, the fastest Indian to do so
Harshal Patel Breaks Chahal Record: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fast bowler Harshal Patel has made a new record in IPL history. He completed 150 wickets in the match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and became the fastest Indian bowler to do so. Harshal achieved this position in just 117 matches, before this record was the name of Yuzvendra Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) who achieved this feat in 118 matches.
Harshal Patel created history while bowling against Lucknow Super Giants in the 61st match of IPL 2025. Harshal, who came to bowl in the death overs, not only bowled the set batsman Aidan Markram on a special ball in the 16th over, but also completed the 150th wicket of his IPL career.
Harshal threw a slow yorker from outside the Cries, which was absolutely accurate on the middle stump. Markram came out to play a big shot as a full toss, but the ball cheated and blown straight stumps. Markram was playing by scoring 61 runs.

With this wicket, Harshal Patel became the fastest Indian bowler to take 150 wickets in the IPL, leaving behind Yuzvendra Chahal (118 matches) and Jaspreet Bumrah (124 matches). Bhuvneshwar Kumar (138 matches) and Amit Mishra (140 matches) are also included in this list.
