Lord Ram and Ravana will not be seen together in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Part 1, know the reason behind it
The ‘Ramayana’, which is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has been in the news for a long time. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the roles of Lord Ram and Yash Ravana. The film is also being co-produced by Namit Malhotra with Namit Malhotra. Fans are eagerly waiting for ‘Ramayana’.
The film is going to become a great visual and emotional experience with the industry’s finest actors, world class VFX team, grand sets and strong starcasts. While Ranbir Kapoor is in the role of Lord Ram, Yash is playing the role of Ravana. But the interesting thing is that despite being such a big clash, both superstars are hardly going to be seen sharing the screen together in the film.
According to sources associated with the film, the makers have decided to follow the original text of Valmiki Ramayana, in which most of the story of Lord Rama and Ravana goes away from each other. The world of both is completely different and their face-to-face is only in the last war. According to the real story, Rama is able to know about Ravana only when Sita is killed, and only then both face to face in the battlefield of Lanka.
The creative decision of Nitesh Tiwari and his team that the characters of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash will stay away from each other, add depth to the Ramayana story. These different journeys of Rama and Ravana symbolize one religion and virtue, then the second ego and power representing and this makes this thing even more interesting.
By the time these two ways go separate, the audience connects with their stories. This distance makes the moment of their face to face more powerful and effective. While Yash will be seen on screen with Sai Bani Sai Pallavi and Hanuman, Sunny Deol, while Ranbir is not sure about his scene with Kapoor.
Actually, Ranbir is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love and War, including Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. He cannot change the special look he has kept for this film. The delay in the shooting of Ramayana from above has increased further difficulty. In such a situation, it is not possible to shoot Ranbir’s look or schedule and shoot for the Ramayana.
The shooting of the film is currently running on big sets in the city. The Ramayana is being built in two parts, the first part will come in Diwali 2026 and the second Diwali in 2027. Ranbir Kapoor has already finished his work, while Yash has started his shooting after going to Ujjain in early May after visiting Mahakal.
The decision to show low screen sharing among the lead characters in the film clearly shows that the makers are working hard to maintain the soul of the real Ramayana. Today, in most big starcast films, there is an attempt to increase the fan base by forcibly showing big names together, while Ramayana catches a different route.
Ramayana is undoubtedly one of the biggest films that everyone is eagerly waiting for. The film, being produced in Namit Malhotra’s production, will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in important roles. The film with a grand scale and mega starcast is going to present India’s largest and most sacred mythological saga in a strong and attractive way, a cinematic experience that has never been seen before.
