Major Ashish Dahiya honored with Shaurya Chakra, the period of terrorists was formed in Pulwama

Major Ashish Dahiya was awarded the Shaurya Chakra at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. He was announced to receive this award on the occasion of Republic Day. Now the President honored him. During the search in the campaign against the terrorists, the terrorists tried to flee by throwing indiscriminate firing and grenades, to which Major Dahiya gave an accurate reply and seriously injured the fleeing terrorist. Amid fierce firing, the terrorist threw a grenade, pelting his operation partner. Major Dahiya immediately creeped his partner, creeping his life.

After covering his partner, while sensing the danger for his soldiers, Major Dahiya demonstrated the unmatched field craft and after finishing the initial threat, he put himself in more danger in front of the terrorists’ firing and helped to secure his injured partner, which saved his life. Major Ashish Dahiya was awarded the “Shaurya Chakra” award for fearless courage, selfless commitment to people and missions, adventure plan and an important operation.

Ashish Dahiya’s family has always been absorbed in service. His father was a Lance Nayak in the Army. His brother Aneesh also holds the post of Major in the army. At the same time, Ashish’s wife Anusha is also part of the Indian Army. Ashish is originally from Sonepat, Haryana. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the village due to them getting this honor.
