England women vs West Indies Women: West Indies women cricket team captain and star all-rounder Heli Mathews (May 21) on Wednesday (May 21) scored a brilliant century in the first T20 International against England at St. Lawrence Ground in Cantorbury. Mathews scored an unbeaten 100 in 67 balls, in which he hit 16 fours and 1 six. With this century innings, he took a special record.

The first female cricketer to do so

Mathews made the record of scoring the most centuries against full member countries at the Women’s T20 International. This is his third century against full member countries. This record in male cricket is in the name of Rohit Sharma, who has scored five centuries.

Women’s fourth player of T20 International

Matthews women have become the fourth player of T20 International, who have scored three or more centuries. Isha Ojha has scored 4 centuries, Chamari Attapattu and Fatima Kibasu 3-3 centuries.

However, this century of Matthews went in vain as England defeated West Indies by 8 wickets.

After receiving the first batting, the West Indies scored 146 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Apart from Matthews, no other player could leave his mark.

In response, the England team won by losing 2 wickets in 16.3 overs. For England, Sophia Dunkli scored an unbeaten 81 runs in 56 balls and Heather Knight scored an unbeaten 43 in 27 balls.
