Gujarat ATS has arrested Sahadev Singh Gohil, a man from Kutch. It is alleged that he was sending the Pakistani agent through the photo-video WhatsApp of BSF and Navy’s existing military units. Sahadeva was working on contract in the Health Department in Lakhpat taluka of Kutch.
According to the ATS, in June 2023, a woman contacted Gohil on WhatsApp by calling herself Aditi Bhardwaj. It is being told that for the first time, Gohil received cash of 40 thousand rupees on sending sensitive information. Earlier, on 7 July 2023, ATS also arrested a Kutch youth of spying for a girl named Aditi.

OTP also sent with SIM from Aadhaar
SP’s Siddharth further informed that a forensic investigation of Gohil’s mobile phone has revealed that the two numbers from which Gohil used to send information are now operating from Pakistan. In fact, Gohil took a new SIM card in January 2024 using his Aadhaar card and sent his OTP to the Pakistani agent. With this, the agent could run WhatsApp on that number from Pakistan.
