- The winds of development in rural areas of the state are no longer limited to roads or electric wires. Now technology has made its reach to the village chaupal. The best example of this is Common Service Center (CSC) established in packsWhich are making the routine of the villagers more simple and convenient than ever before. Be it farmers or students, women or laborers – every class is now getting stronger with digital services.
- So far 4,477 packs under this ambitious scheme of the state government Computerization has been carried out. Along with this, out of a total of 5,987 packs, CSC has become active in 4,316, and through them so far Trade more than Rs 4.5 crore are done. These figures show how this mail of technology and administrative initiative is succeeding.
- 300+ services in the village itself – now it is not necessary to go to the city
- Through the common service centers, the villagers have now got rid of the race of the city. These centers provide more than 300 government and non-government services, including:
- Railway, bus and airplane ticket booking
- Ayushman Bharat Health Card
- E -ram card
- Aadhar card services (eg update, print, registration)
- PAN card application and improvement
- Electricity bill payment, banking services, insurance and pension schemes
- Earlier, for these works, people had to travel for hours and go to the cities, now all these services The village packs are available in the office onlyThis is saving time, money and labor.
- The role and appreciation of the state government
- State cooperative minister Dr. Prem Kumar Expressing satisfaction over the CSC network active in the packs, has termed it a “historical achievement” for the state. He says that these centers have played a decisive role in providing facilities from village to village. He further said that this initiative has not only simplified the lives of the villagers, but they have got a strong means of joining government schemes and digital world.
- Plan to add the remaining packs soon
- Although CSC has been operational in 4,316 packs so far, some packs are still deprived of this facility. Registrar of Cooperation Committees in this regard Inayat Khan Has given strict instructions to all the concerned officials that the remaining packs should be activated as soon as possible. He also clarified that the packs whose CSC ID is still in the name of former presidents should be updated in the name of the current manager to maintain transparency and accountability in operation.
- Inayat Khan termed it as a “milestone” for farmers and rural society, saying that such digital reach has made villages technically self -sufficient.
