IPL 2025 Playoffs Schedule: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 6 wickets in the last league stage match of the Indian Premier League 2025 played at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday (27 May). With the end of this match, the playoffs’ schedule was also confirmed.
After receiving the first batting, the Lucknow team scored a huge score of 227 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. Batting brilliantly, captain Rishabh Pant scored a century and scored an unbeaten 118 in 61 balls, in which 11 fours and 8 sixes hit. Opening batsman Mitchell Marsh scored 67 runs in 37 balls.
In response, RCB easily won by losing 4 wickets in 18.4. Acting captain Jitesh Sharma, who was the top scorer, scored an unbeaten 85 off 33 balls, Virat Kohli scored 54 runs in 30 balls. Mayank Agarwal remained unbeaten after scoring 41 runs in 23 balls.
With this victory, RCB confirmed its place in the top 2 with 19 points.

Playoff format:
Qualifier 1 winning team will directly enter the final.
The eliminator’s losing team will be out of the tournament.
Qualifier 2 will compete between the Qualifier 1 losing team and the winning team of the eliminator.
The winning teams of qualifier 1 and qualifier 2 will be face to face in the final.
