Nissan Motor India’s popular SUV New Nissan Magnite will now be available with the CNG retrofitment kit certified by the government. Magnight is offered in the sub four meter SUV segment by Nissan. In this segment, it directly competes with SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger.
Saurabh Vats, managing director of Nissan Motor India, said in his statement that the CNG kit has been developed by Motogene (Third Party) in accordance with the country’s regulatory standards. Motoogen will give warranty to components of the kit. This initiative shows the company’s commitment to give a solution keeping in mind the customers. The kit will be installed at the government authorized fitment center.
The eco -friendly CNG kit fitment introduced keeping in mind the environmental customers will be made available across the country in a phased manner. In the first phase, Nissan customers in seven states Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala and Karnataka will be able to install CNG kit from Nissan’s authorized dealership. After some time it will be expanded across the country in the second phase.
The CNG kit option will be available only with a new Nissan Magnite 1.0 liter Natural Aspirated Petrol Engine with manual gearbox. The CNG retrofitted kit will give customers the benefit of better fuel efficiency. All CNG kits will be installed by the government -certified vendors. It will get certifite homological kits, which will be in line with all current regulations and safety standards.

With the goal of meeting customers’ needs, now Nissan dealers will be able to offer alternative fuel options as CNG retrofitment kits certified by the government. More than 55 safety features

These include the right hand drive and left hand drive, both markets.
What is price
Nissan Magnite CNG can be purchased in the Indian market at an ex showroom price of Rs 6.89 lakh. This price is 75 thousand rupees more than its petrol version. All variants with Nissan Magnite all natural aspiratid engines are being given to CNG, for which the price of 75 thousand rupees of CNG will have to be paid. Along with this, three years or one lakh kilometer warranty is also being given by the manufacturer on CNG variants. Along with this, its test drive will also be started from the first week of June.
