Karan Johar welcomed twin children Yash and Ruhi Johar on 7 February 2017 through surrogacy. Yash was named in honor of Yash Johar, the late father of Karan, a famous filmmaker, while Ruhi’s name is a fun adaptation named Karan’s mother Hiru Johar. Many Bollywood celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Tripati Dimri and Manish Malhotra, showered love on Karan’s birthday.
