Russia did not make billions of dollars with Pakistan, said-Pak media spreads lies to spoil relations with India
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia.
New Delhi: Russia has described the news of billions of dollars with Pakistan as a completely rumor. According to the news of All India Radio (AIR), Moscow has denied the Pak media reports of billions of dollars of agreement between Pakistan and Russia. Russia dismissed those reports of Pakistan media, saying that Moscow is not planning to increase any new economic relations with Islamabad.
Russia rejected Pakistan’s claim
According to AIR, Russia has recently described the reports of Pakistani media as fake, claiming that Moscow is expanding economic relations with Islamabad, including plans to set up a steel mill jointly in Karachi.
Pakistani media spread lies
The report of the deal in Russia-Pakistan was spread by the Pak media after a meeting between Special Assistant Akhtar Khan and Russian Envoy Dennis Nazirov on 13 May. There was a lot of talk of billions of dollars deal between Pakistan and Russia. But now Moscow has strongly dismissed the claim of signing any multi-dollar deal with Pakistan.
Russia told why Pakistan spread rumors?
Russia clearly stated that this rumor was spread with the intention of spoiling the deepening relations between Russia and India. Moscow accused the mischievous elements in Pakistan of trying to disrupt the India-Russian strategic strategic partnership. This claim was made by the Pak media at a time when India recently targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor and destroyed those locations. A senior Russian officer described these reports as exaggerated and said that their purpose is to make such relations (Pak-Russians) sensational which are not present on such a large scale.
