Xi Jinping demolished the top military officer of China, fired Admiral Miao
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Admiral Mao took place.
Beijing: China has taken strong action on another military officer. President Xi Jinping has removed Admiral Miao Hua from the job with immediate effect. China has taken this action on suspicion of ‘legal violation’ under the anti -corruption campaign in the army. The ruling Communist Party of China has revealed that Miao, a member of the controversial Chinese Admiral and powerful Central Military Commission (CMC), is suspected of “legal violation”. Which indicates that the allegations against them can be more serious and criminal in criminal nature than before.
Miao was on the radar of investigation for a long time
According to South China Morning Post report For a long time, Miao was on the investigation radar. Even before this, he has faced disciplinary investigation. Miao has been the head of the Department of Political Affairs of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in China. This is a post that is considered extremely impressive for ideological control and personnel management in the army. A statement by the top legislature of China released on 15 May said that in March it was decided to expel Miao from Parliament on suspicion of “discipline and serious violation of law”. The statement became public recently and came out in the media for the first time this week. Although the report of his expulsion was already revealed in March, this is the first time the authorities have formally accepted the possibility of legal misconduct.
Miyo can be taken more and big action
China is quite strict against corruption in its army. Even before this, President Xi Jinping has removed 2 officers of his army. Miao was placed under investigation at the end of November 2024 on allegations of “serious violations of discipline”. Cases related to corruption and misuse of power were pending on them. Now the mention of “legal violation” indicates that a criminal case can also be registered against him.
Why did Miao become the curry of Jinping’s eye?
The decline of Miao occurred amid President Xi Jinping’s anti -corruption campaign and military reform efforts. In recent years, many high-ranking PLA officials have been targeted under these campaigns. Xi Jinping has adopted a policy of strengthening ideological control in PLA and giving priority to loyalty to the Communist Party within the army. His goal is to make China a global military superpower. But Miao was not fit in it due to his conduct. So he became the gritty of Jinping’s eyes. Although Miao is still a member of the CMC, it is believed to be almost certain to be removed from this institution.
Former defense minister has also fallen
Former Defense Minister Lee Shangfu has also fallen for the action of Jinping before Miao in China. In 2023, former Defense Minister Shangfu could hold his post only seven months. Earlier and his predecessor Wei Fenghe (2018–2023) was also expelled from the party on charges of “discipline and serious violation of law”. Beijing confirmed the investigation of corruption against both and Lee was removed from the CMC in October 2023.
Has Jinping put Miao in jail
Miao Hua was the last public presence on 7 October on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Zinjiang production and construction core. He has not been seen publicly since. In such a situation, it is believed that Xi Jinping has been put in jail. However, no official confirmation has been made about this. Similarly, CMC vice -president in China and member of the Polit Bureau Hey Vedong is also publicly absent for the last two months. He was last seen publicly on 11 March and has not attended any major meeting since then.
Miao’s history of joining PLA
Miao was admitted to PLA at the age of only 14. Apart from this, he served for many years in party work in the southeastern Fuzian province. After Xi Jinping came to power, Miao became increasingly promoted and served as a political commissioner in PLA’s Navy and eventually became the youngest Admiral. He is a member of the CMC since 2017. But due to allegations of corruption and misconduct, he climbed on the eyes of Jinping.
