Airline Good news for companies. Aviation turbine fuel ie ATF prices have been cut. Aircraft fuel prices have been cut by three percent. Prices cuts have been announced on Sunday. This is the third consecutive month when aircraft fuel prices have come down. Prices have been reduced in the domestic market after a decrease in benchmark crude oil and gas prices internationally. After the cut in aviation fuel, now the prices of flight tickets can also be reduced. Apart from this, the prices of commercial cylinders of 19 kg used in hotels and restaurants have also been reduced.

What has been done prices?

According to government petroleum companies, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) in the national capital has come down by Rs 2,414.25 per kilo or 2.82 percent to Rs 83,072.55 per kiloliter. Earlier, on May 1, the price of ATF was reduced to 4.4 percent (Rs 3,954.38 per kilo) and 6.15 percent (Rs 5,870.54 per kiloliter) on April 1. After this cut on Sunday, the increase in ATF prices earlier this year has been compensated to a great extent.

Airlines burden will be less

Reduction in the price of ATF will reduce the burden on commercial airline companies. Aircraft fuel 40 percent of the operating costs of airline companies. There was no immediate response from the airline companies on the price deduction. The price of ATF in Mumbai has been reduced from Rs 79,855.59 to Rs 77,602.73 per kiloliter. Whereas in Chennai and Kolkata, prices were increased to Rs 86,103.25 and Rs 86,052.57 per kiloliter respectively.

Gas cylinder prices also reduced

Petroleum companies also cut the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 24. The price of commercial LPG will now be Rs 1,723.50 in the national capital and Rs 1,647.50 per cylinder in Mumbai. Earlier on May 1, the price of commercial cylinders was reduced by Rs 14.50 and on April 1. In the last few months, the prices of crude oil have been softened internationally, as the Global Trade War has affected the demand for fuel. Explain that the prices of ATF and LPG vary in different states due to the value-added tax (VAT) and other local taxes.
