Put Sukhoi Jet tires in Lord Jagannath’s chariot
The wheels of the chariot of Kolkata ISKCON’s famous Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra have been replaced after 48 years. This time tires of Russian Sukhoi jet are being installed in the chariot. The takeoff speed of the fighter jet is up to 280 km/h. However, the chariot will run at a speed of 1.4 kmph.
