If you look at the core of the film, then you will look like folk tales that used to narrate grandmother.
Film made in 7 years
Soham Shah further said- ‘It received tremendous response from the audience. But, it was very difficult for me to make it. While making it, it was felt several times to close it. Then it seems from inside, if I do not make it, then who will make it. Due to this, it took 7 years to make the film. Due to this, I also had to leave many projects. While making this film, I was financially ended. In 7 years, I had to sell my home and property. Gradually, there was such a situation that the car had to be sold.
The first draft was prepared years ago
The construction of Tumbad is Soham Shah, Anand L. Rai and Mukesh Shah have done it. The film revolves around a village named Tumbad in Maharashtra, where the year-old treasure is hidden. The film was released in 2018, but the first draft of this film was prepared years ago. The first draft of ‘Tumbad’ was written by writer-director Rahi Anil Barve in 1997. The title of the film was taken from the Marathi novel Tumbadche Khot of Shripad Narayan Pendse. According to media reports, Rahi wrote a 700-page storyboard in 2009-10.
