Everything is not good between Samsung and Google. The South Korean company will no longer use Google’s Artificial Intelligence Tool Gemini AI in its Galaxy smartphone. Samsung has found a new partner for this. According to the report, Samsung may partner with a startup company Perplexity for AI features in its upcoming Galaxy smartphone. According to Bloomberg’s report, the deal between American startup company and Samsung may soon be final.

Change will be seen in Galaxy S26 series

According to the report, the company will use Perplexity AI instead of Gemini in the Samsung Galaxy S26 series to be launched next year. The browser in Samsung’s phone and PEPLEXITY AI in Bixby Virtual Assistant can be integrated. Not only this, Perplexity AI will also be used in the company’s Oneui 8 customized operating system. The company may soon officially announce the deal.

Big shift in AI

The deal between Samsung and American startup company may be pointed to the Major Shift in AI of the South Korean brand. Samsung launched Galaxy AI with the Galaxy S24 series. The company had a big partnership with Google in its Galaxy device for Gemini AI. Recently, during the ongoing Anti Trust on Google, it was revealed that Google gave Samsung a hefty amount to use Gemini AI in its phone.

Spread between Google and Samsung?

Google is going to use Tensor processor created by TSMC in the Pixel 10 series launched this year. Earlier in the Pixel 6 to Pixel 9 series, Google has used Tensor chipset made by Samsung. This deal between Google and Samsung is on the verge of ending. This new report of Bloomberg is pointing towards a ruckus between these two companies. It seems that Samsung has also sought a new partner for AI due to Google’s decision to use Samsung’s hardware.
