On Tuesday, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake occurred on the Richter scale in the Dodecane Island area of ​​Greece. According to the report of the European Mediterranean Earthquake Sciences Center, the earthquake occurred close to the Turkish border. The EMSC confirmed that the seismic activity was recorded at a depth of 68 km (42 mi). Meanwhile, the Turkian disaster management agency, on Tuesday morning, an earthquake of 5.8 magnitude occurred in the Mediterranean coastal city of Marmaris. Marmaris Governor Idris Akbiyik said that seven people were injured while trying to escape from their homes, some people jumped from windows or balconies.

The earthquake centered in the Mediterranean Sea came at 2.17 am on Tuesday morning and was also felt in the surrounding areas including the Greek island Rhodes, people were seen running out of the houses due to the earthquake. A 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Turki city of Marmaris in the early hours of Tuesday. This area is on the banks of the Mediterranean. According to the Turk’s disaster management agency, at least 7 people were injured while running from homes.
