During pregnancy, Diya suddenly had a deadly bacterial infection. The infection started after appendix surgery in his fifth month. At the end of the sixth month, the doctors came to know that their placenta was getting bleeding and his body was slowly going into sepsis. This was the turn when a delicate door between life and death held both mother and son.
It was only 810 grams of son
Dia Mirza was rushed to the hospital in Emergency. There he told the doctor, ‘Save my child.’ But the doctor said to him, “Trust me.” And then his son Avyanaka was born who was only 810 grams and was shifted directly to the ICU. The condition of Avyan was critical. He had to undergo a life-savings surgery only 36 hours after birth because there was a hole in his intestine. The doctors took the intestine out of the body and put stole, it was a very delicate and complex process. Diya was allowed to meet her son only twice a week. She could not even touch her until her weight becomes 2.5 kg.
Used to take care of her own
When he brought his son home for the first time for 20 days, no nurse was ready to take care of him. Diya handled everything himself, from dressing to care. When the weight of Avyan reached 3.5 kg, the second surgery was performed, which lasted for 3-4 hours and then his stoma was removed. Let me tell you, Dia Mirza married businessman Vaibhav Rekhi on 15 February 2021 among his close ones. This was the second marriage of both. After one and a half months of marriage, the actress shared pictures with Baby Bump. During that time she was on vacation in Maldives. The actress became a mother on 14 May. In such a situation, she gave birth to Baby only after three months of marriage.
