Causes of malaria: Malaria is caused by a parasite called plasmodium. This parasitic infected female anopheles spreads to humans by mosquito bites. When an infected mosquito bites a person, the parasites enter its bloodstream and then move into the liver. After maturing in the liver, they infect red blood cells, causing malaria symptoms. Malaria can also spread by exposure to infected blood, such as the needles used during pregnancy or injections from the mother to the baby.
Treatment of Malaria: Malaria is treated with antimallerial drugs.
