Stock market started flat in green mark, big ups and downs in these shares – Cross Talk India
Share Market Opening 25th April, 2025: On the last trading day of the week, the Indian stock market started a flat in the green mark. On Friday, the BSE Sensex opened with a slight gain of 28.72 points at 79,830.15 points. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 also started trading at 24,289.00 points with a gain of 42.30 points. On Thursday, BSE Sensex fell by 58.06 points to 80,058.43 points and NSE’s Nifty 50 index fell 51.05 points to start trading at 24,277.90 points with 51.05 points and closed trading.
Tech Mahindra’s stocks fall drastically
On Friday, 25 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened in green mark with an increase in green mark and the remaining 5 companies opened with decline in red mark. On the other hand, today, 37 out of 50 of the 50s of Nifty 50 started trading in the green mark and opened in red mark with losses of the remaining 13 companies. The Shares of Eaterial (Zomato), one of the Sensex companies, opened with the highest 0.89 percent and Tech Mahindra’s shares opened with the highest 3.52 percent fall today.
Shares of TCS, Tata Steel, Tata Motors gains
Talking about the rest of the Sensex’s stocks, today TCS 0.87 percent, Tata Steel 0.85 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.75 percent, ICICI Bank 0.70 percent, Tata Motors 0.67 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.63 percent, Infosys 0.62 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.58 percent, Railion Airtel 0.58 percent, Reliance Industries. NTPC opened with 0.54 percent, HDFC Bank 0.51 percent, Titan 0.49 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.49 percent, Larsen & Toubro 0.45 percent, State Bank of India opened with 0.44 percent.
Axis Bank, Nestle India started trading with a decline
Apart from these, on Friday, Stocks of Sun Pharma, Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finserv, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Adani Ports, IndusInd Bank, UltraTech Cement and Powergrid also opened in the green mark. However, today Axis Bank shares opened 2.92 percent, Nestle India 1.27 percent, HCL Tech 0.43 percent and Asian Paints shares declined by 0.26 percent to the red mark.
